Santa Monica Home - Deconstruction in Action

The owner of this 3,000 square foot home in Santa Monica, California, just happens to be a partner in a local green architectural firm. He and his wife contacted our network to help manage the deconstruction and donation of reusable materials salvaged in the process. It's great to have our old friend Tim Greenleaf heading up the deconstruction process and as you can see by the video, it's going very smoothly.

The deconstruction began on Monday, February 9 and this footage was captured the next day (February 10) so you can see how effficiently it's progressing. We estimate close to 3 weeks for completion.

Notable materials from this home include low-flow toilets, appliances, crown molding, hardwood flooring and a gorgeous mantel.
